Ira Dorsey Scholarship Endowment Fund, Inc.
The Ira Dorsey Scholarship Endowment Fund, Inc. (IDSEF) is a nonprofit that operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. More specifically, the purpose of the IDSEF is to provide scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students. The IDSEF was founded by the Xi Alpha Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. It was incorporated on June 9, 1994. Over the years the IDSEF has awarded more than $130,000 to more than 100 students. In addition to sponsoring several activities throughout the year to fund its scholarships, the IDSEF solicits and receives funds from individuals, corporations and other philanthropic organizations. The IDSEF is a member of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) – CFC #31296.
